Analysis
Artifact 1: SMART Goal
This artifact shows that I am setting goals for myself. I am always looking to grow and improve as an educator and setting goals is a great way to grow professionally and personally. This goal is to change the vocabulary I use to address the students. This goal was very easy to reach as I spent more time with students. |
Artifact 2: Video Analysis
I chose this artifact to represent this standard to show that I reflect upon my work and find areas to improve as well as areas of strength. It also shows that I am trying to grow and improve myself and my abilities to benefit the students. |
Synthesis
Artifact 1: SMART Goal
This SMART goal was attainable and was attained during student teaching. Each piece of the goal is important and makes it easy for me to follow through. I have used these SMART goals to attain many other goals thus far and I continue to use them. From professors and peers, the goals I set for myself are realistic. The SMART goal tool, if used correctly, makes it difficult to make a goal that is not realistic and attainable. |
Artifact 2: SMART Goal
Reflecting upon myself as an educator from the beginning of my journey until now, I have shown an overwhelming amount of growth. My passion and abilities have grown because of the professional reflecting I have done. My professors and cooperating teachers have supported me and my reflective process. This is something I continue to do and will continue to throughout my career to continue growing. |
