Analysis
Artifact 1: MTLE Scores
The MTLE scores show that I understand content I will be teaching to students. The tests include reading, writing, social studies, math, and science content that I must know in order to teach young minds. The passing scores for these tests show that I have understanding of central concepts. |
Artifact 2: DARS Report

This perfectly displays Standard 1, as it shows that I have been taught and been successful with the core concepts and tools. Synthesis
Artifact 1: MTLE Scores
I completed my first three MTLE tests before entering the teacher preparation program. I then continued by completing my final five MTLE tests before entering my final year of schooling and student teaching. Since this time, I have had countless hours in the classroom learning from students and mentors. I have also taken classes from extraordinary professors and expanded my knowledge and confidence. This does in fact, show my ability to test within high-pressure situations. The testing facility had an intense atmosphere which made the testing situation nerve-racking. |
Artifact 2: DARS Report
This artifact only shows grades from courses but does not show my experiences in the classroom. Throughout my schooling, I have learned more while in a classroom with students than anywhere else. I have expanded my knowledge and grown as an individual while in the classroom. There is no better experience than the real experience. Although the experience in the classroom as a teacher was important, the time spent as a student was necessary as well. This report shows my success as a student and my ability to be successful as a student will be important as a make this transition to a teacher. |
